Here it is. Plasma Front, my new music journey.
From now on, I will focus only on it. At this moment, I'm planning doing a brand new EP that will come out in the first days of the official website existence (when it is setup). After that one, I plan to do another one but with less tracks.
Like I've said before, 100Modem is dead. As for Sonic V, and again, like I've said, it will come out, dont worry, but it wont be released soon like I predicted, I'm sorry.

Different artist name and ditching 100Modem
It's time to start another fresh project and for that I need another name. I think 100Modem is more like a channel or username where I put other stuff like concerts Ive been to, but regarding music it may be not the most suitable one. That is why I'm ditching 100Modem regarding music making.
100Modem was a name I come up with in 2007, and quickly made it my artist name, but now I see it also has problems. First of all it was meant to be a 100% Portuguese project, it literally means in Portuguese "without modem", where "100" also means "without" in my language. When I created the name, I did this with that intention. But after some years I started to do things only in English and "one hundred modem" (in ENG) is not a good name in my opinion. Since I wont do more stuff in PT (except with musician friends but that isn't a part of 100Modem at all) its time to pick another name.
I also think that 100Modem was the start for me regarding music making. Now that I've become better in that process over these years, a fresh new name is the best thing to do.
Dont worry, Sonic V will come out, but not as 100Modem, just with a different name and website too, but unfortunately this represents a delay.
Right now, I'm already thinking about a new and permanent name, and I will post It here when the official website for it is also online.
100Modem channel will continue to be up on Youtube, so has my twitter account and this site here in blogspot, where I will put updates like concerts and respective photos or videos. As for new music, I may still upload stuff there in the beginning but with my new artist name. Then Ill move to the new account.

I've been working on the other album so i got little time to go here. Ill be giving Sonic V latest touches soon.
Like ive said in other posts, I'm also recording another album, but that one has vocals so it's more time consuming.

Lots of tracks
This album contains alot of tracks, more then those i had in mind. This was supposed to be good, but it seems everyday i come up with a new one that sounds better and that creates a question: should i keep so many tracks in the album?
Right now ive got around 20 tracks, and i think ill cut some of them out.

Our old work can still be used
On my quest to complete the album, ive come across some old sound files i created long time ago.
Right after R.Sounds (first album ever) i wanted to do another house/electronica album and ive found some music pieces from it in my computer. That album was never completed.
Whats good about this is that some songs still sound good and I can use them in Sonic V because they fit right in. Right now ive added a bit from an old track to a Sonic V track and im going to use a full track from 2007 on this album. Even if some sound good, others are really bad produced and sound dull. Remembering these tracks from 2007 shows how much I've progressed in making music. Plus, I wont use them all in a new album, that would be just lazy, but its okay to bring some of them back.
This particular sound goes back to the days i didn't had a guitar so I can hear a digital guitar effect from FL there, wow this is old! Mastering and EQ'ing and voila! Maybe some day I'll release all of these songs.

Sonic V album art cover revealed
I was lazy and used the Sonic 3d European box art. I own that game and i always liked the image, Sonic looks like its going super saiyan and its badass. So I thought, why not?
